COVID-19 weekly update from Hall & Prior Health & Aged Care Group.Read more >
We understand that it is difficult to keep up with changes to COVID-19 restrictions, so we wanted to make it as simple as possible for our residents’ families and loved ones to understand the rules of entry at our aged care homes in WA and NSW.
Our number one priority at Hall & Prior is and has always been keeping our residents and staff safe and well.

What this means for you in:
Hall & Prior management continues to closely monitor local COVID-19 outbreak clusters.
Particular focus is placed on community spread, as this poses the greatest opportunity for COVID-19 to enter into one of our homes.
Our NSW Metropolitan and Central Coast homes (excluding Grafton) have been in lockdown since August 30 due to a directive from Dr Kerry Chant, Chief Health Officer at NSW Health. We wish to advise that while we await further advice from NSW Health these current visitor restrictions will remain in place until Monday, September 21.
While we do not have any cases of COVID-19 in our homes, restricted access to our Sydney homes helps protect our vulnerable residents from the ongoing threat of community transmission.

The NSW Government has directed that some staff in some locations must wear a mask while working in an aged care facility.
We have made the decision to extend this requirement to all staff and anyone entering our homes in NSW (with the exception of our home in Grafton). We have secured an ample supply of masks and have taken this step to protect not only our residents but also our staff.
We thank you for your understanding and patience during these uncertain times.
Our homes in Western Australia are safe at present but we must remain vigilant to the threat of COVID-19.
We will continue to screen visitors into our WA homes and as ask that you stay away if:
If you have any further questions please call the Director of Nursing or Executive Manager at your home and they will be able to advise you.
We also recommend that you ‘Do the Three’: wash your hands, practice safe social distancing and download the COVID Safe app.
We will get through this together.
