COVID-19 weekly update from Hall & Prior Health & Aged Care Group.Read more >
We understand that it is difficult to keep up with changes to COVID-19 restrictions, so we wanted to make it as simple as possible for our residents’ families and loved ones to understand the rules of entry at our aged care homes in WA and NSW.
Our number one priority at Hall & Prior is and has always been keeping our residents and staff safe and well.

What this means for you in:
Hall & Prior management continues to closely monitor local COVID-19 outbreak clusters.
All of our NSW homes are now open to visitors by appointment.
In accordance with NSW Health requirements, any visitor or staff member who lives in or has visited Liverpool or Wingecarribee LGAs must wear a mask while in the facility.
Visitors who have come from New Zealand or South Australia are also restricted. Please contact your home direct for further information.
While we do not have any cases of COVID-19 in our homes, carefully managing visitor access to our Sydney homes helps protect our vulnerable residents from the ongoing threat of community transmission.
We thank you for your understanding and patience during these uncertain times.
Our homes in Western Australia are safe at present from COVID-19 but we must remain vigilant.
On 14 November the Western Australian hard border was replaced by a controlled border, allowing travel into WA from most States and Territories, with some continued quarantine requirements.
Due to a recent outbreak in South Australia this week, the border is closed between SA and WA.
The easing of border restrictions does create an increased risk of COVID-19 re-entering Western Australia.
We wish to reassure you that we continue to refine our Pandemic Management Plan and are alert to and prepared for the increased risk. Our staff continue to be trained in our outbreak management procedures, infection prevention and control and the correct use of PPE.
All visitors to our homes will continue to be screened on entry and we will require evidence of a current Influenza vaccination. We ask that you all remain vigilant with the new border controls coming into effect.
Should there be any evidence of community transmission in WA please rest assured we will work closely with the WA Department of Health to act quickly and place any local homes into lockdown as this is managed.
The safety and wellbeing of our residents and staff remains our number one priority.
We thank you for your continued support.
We will continue to screen visitors into our homes and ask that you stay away if:
If you have any questions or concerns please call the Director of Nursing or Executive Manager at your home and they will be able to advise you.
We also recommend that you ‘Do the Three’: wash your hands, practice safe social distancing and download the COVID Safe app.
