COVID-19 Update

This week we began the very important task of administering the COVID-19 vaccination to our residents.

Our Rockingham residents in Perth received the vaccine on Tuesday (February 23); and we have been advised that Clarence Estate in Albany and Aubrey Downer in NSW will soon take place as part of Phase 1a.

We applaud the Government’s decision to make residents of Residential Aged Care Facilities among the first to receive the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine and help protect society's most vulnerable from the ongoing threat of the virus.

Hall & Prior has championed an influenza vaccine program for both our residents and staff for over a decade, resulting in industry leading immunisation rates.

Our number one priority is and has always been the safety and wellbeing of our residents and staff.

Since the vaccine program was first announced we have also had a team dedicated to ensuring we can support the safe and effective roll-out of it to our residents.

When we receive information from the Commonwealth Government on other homes vaccination dates we will keep you updated.

At this stage there has been no details regarding confirmation of the COVID-19 vaccine for staff in residential aged care.
