Aged care homes are owned and run by people who are approved by the Australian Government to care for you.
To make sure you're receiving the best care possible, all aged care homes need to meet certain standards, these are the Accreditation Standards. All Hall & Prior homes have met these four standards and are compliant with all 44 outcomes. To read more about the standards please visit the My Aged Care website.
All aged care homes are accredited and monitored by the Australian Aged Care Quality Agency (the Quality Agency). To make sure Hall & Prior are providing you with the best possible care, accreditation assessors visit each home and talk to staff, residents and their families about the home and ensure they meet the required standards.
On top of meeting the expected outcomes of the accreditation standard for our industry, the most important standard that we aim to uphold each and every day is meeting your expectations. The expectations of our care recipients, their loved ones, our staff, and the wider community are important to us. If you have a comment or a complaint we are happy to hear this at any time and will use your views to improve.
If you would like further information about accreditation, please speak with the Director of Nursing at your home. They will be more than happy to help answer any questions you may have.
