The Sir James Terrace Aged Cared Home Benefits
From the care we provide to the relationships we build.
At Sir James Terrace, we believe great aged care starts with knowing the person behind the care needs. Our team takes the time to understand each resident’s routines, preferences, and lifestyle so support feels personal, respectful, and reassuring every day.
Our experienced care team includes qualified nurses, personal care staff, lifestyle coordinators, hospitality staff, and onsite support available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. From daily assistance through to higher-level care needs, we focus on helping residents feel safe, supported, and connected within a welcoming community environment.
We provide a range of care services tailored to individual needs, including ongoing clinical support, respite care, dementia support, and palliative care. Just as importantly, we encourage independence, choice, and open communication with residents and families throughout every stage of the care journey.
If you have questions about care options or would like to discuss your loved one’s needs, our team is here to help guide you through the process with warmth, clarity, and understanding.
At Sir James Terrace, we believe a strong sense of community and connection plays an important role in overall wellbeing. Our lifestyle program is designed to help residents stay active, engaged, and socially connected through a variety of meaningful activities, shared experiences, and community events.
Residents can enjoy a range of social and recreational activities tailored to different interests, abilities, and preferences. From group activities and celebrations through to outings, games, gentle exercise, and social gatherings, our team focuses on creating opportunities for residents to enjoy each day in a supportive and welcoming environment. Family and friends are always encouraged to visit and be part of the community.
We understand that feeling comfortable and at home matters. Residents are encouraged to personalise their rooms with photographs, keepsakes, and personal belongings that bring familiarity and comfort to their space. Combined with inviting shared areas, chef-prepared meals, and family-friendly spaces, Sir James Terrace is designed to feel warm, relaxed, and community-focused rather than clinical or institutional.
Most importantly, we support residents in maintaining independence, choice, and dignity while continuing to enjoy the hobbies, routines, and connections that matter most to them.
Enjoying a variety of delicious, nutritionally balanced meals is an important part of maintaining good health. Our cook prepares a wide variety of nutritious, home-cooked meals in our kitchen on site. We offer choices of hot and cold meals, cater for allergies, intolerances and culturally-specific needs, and create a special menu for a theme day each month.
