Read more >The Christmas spirit was in the air at Clarence Estate this week as the Albany home held its annual festive celebration. Staff, residents and their family members came together on December 7 to sing carols in an event that also recognised some of the home’s long-serving staff members.
We were thrilled to honour six people who this year reached a decade of service with Clarence Estate: Yvonne Quinn, Julie Summerfield, Judy-Anne Baily, Erina Wolfe, Lee O’Dell and Jennifer Kett.
Our Chief Executive Officer Graeme Prior also presented the Albany recipients of the 2015 Directors’ Awards with their certificates. This year, Leanne Pomery, Linda Leake, Nickola Szabo and the Clarence Estate Community Care Team received the Outstanding Care and Services Award. This award recognises those who embody Hall & Prior’s values in their work and strive for excellence in all that they do for our residents.
Mr Prior also presented Natalie Skalko, who is an enrolled nurse, with a scholarship to further her studies. She previously progressed from her role as a carer and has demonstrated strong leadership skills during the past 12 month through her positions as the Occupational Safety and Health representative and as the leader for manual handling and infection control within the home.
Congratulations to both our long serving staff members and those that received a 2015 Director’s Award.
