Read more >The festive season certainly kept everyone busy around Hall & Prior homes! Our residents got the chance to sing carols, meet Santa and most importantly, spend time with their loved ones at the Christmas events across our 14 Western Australian homes, along with our six New South Wales homes.
Our staff also joined in on the fun by dressing up in festive attire and helping to decorate our homes. Thank you to all of the families visited throughout the festive season and helped us make these days special for our residents.
For our Midland home, Tuohy, a local charity group made Christmas even more special for our residents by donating a gift for every person in the home, as well as Tuohy's resident cat and birds! The Guild of St Richard Midland Branch member Jan Jackson, whose mother lives as Tuohy, helped with the effort.
"I've met a lot of the residents here and we knew that some of them wouldn't have any visitors on Christmas day so we wanted to at least make sure they had a gift," Ms Jackson said. "We took $1000 to Big W and came out with three trolleys full of stuff for the residents."
