Scholarship win for Grafton Lifestyle Officer

undefined

Grafton Aged Care Home’s Lifestyle Officer Korrine Napier was recently awarded a Hall & Prior Scholarship Award.

The award symbolises a commitment from Hall & Prior’s Directors Graeme Prior and Michael Hall to encourage further education and skills development for staff who are passionate about what they do. The scholarship will contribute towards the cost of further education for Korrine in the field of ‘Residential Aged Care Lifestyle & Wellbeing’.

“I’m really excited about undertaking my lifestyle qualification with this scholarship. I feel so grateful to be given an amazing opportunity to help with furthering my education and my nursing career,” Korrine said.

Candidates for the scholarships are chosen by the CEO and Director of Nursing on their commitment to Hall & Prior’s values and vision and their general motivation and commitment to care.

“It’s such a blessing to work with such creative and inspiring staff members who help make this challenging and busy workplace run efficiently and positively. The town of Grafton along with its residential aged care is an amazing environment to work and live in," Korrine said.

When she’s not at work, Corrine enjoys spending time with her beautiful and wild “four-year-old daughter” and also built her own house at the age of 19.

Congratulations Korrine!
