Wycombe Grove is a lovely, newly renovated 22-bed short stay (Time 2 Think) home in High Wycombe.
As a specialist transition facility, Wycombe Grove supports patients from hospital who require time to select their preferred residential aged care home. Residents are offered a 28-day respite agreement, which can be extended should circumstances necessitate.
Once admitted to Wycombe Grove, residents will be accommodated in one of 22 single rooms with shared amenities. Residents will have access to Hall & Prior’s range of aged care placement specialists and social workers to assist in the planning for their permanent home.
Residents will also enjoy generous re-enablement focused therapy and lounge areas, as well as the lovely, landscaped gardens that surround Wycombe Grove.
For your peace of mind, we provide specialist care for your loved-one by a dedicated team of Registered Nurses and personal carers. We have the expertise to assist with complex care requirements and will always discuss your care with you and your family.
At Hall & Prior we know that placing your loved-one in care is a big decision; we see it as an honour to care for them and we look forward to welcoming them to our family.
Staying active and socialising is an important part of a healthy lifestyle. Our activity program changes each month, but will always include bus trips and outings, arts and crafts, movie days and theme days. We have a number of volunteers supporting our home and have regular musical performances, fetes, raffles and visits from school groups.
Friends and relatives are welcome to visit at any time and can catch up over a cup of tea in one of our comfortable lounges or peaceful gardens. There are also local cafes, shops and parks nearby that are ideal for outings.
Your room will be furnished for you, but we encourage you to bring personal belongings such as photographs and soft furnishings to help you feel at home.
Enjoying a variety of delicious, nutritionally-balanced meals is an important part of maintaining good health. From our central kitchen, our executive chef, sous chef and dietician create menus that provide variety and maximum nutritional value without compromising on taste. We offer choices of hot and cold meals, cater for allergies, intolerances and culturally specific needs, and create a special menu for a theme day each month.
You can view some of our menu options by reading our What's on the menu? flyer.
